Chapter 10 Jealous Mate

• Ann slept like a log throughout the day. She was so tired, and her bones ached even though she hadn't done much. It was a few minutes past five when she stood from her bed. The queen had suggested she resume school today, but Ann had totally forgotten about school with everything going on in her life.
• She quickly got dressed in blue jeans and an oversize hoodie, pulled her hair into a bun, applied a little makeup to her face, and headed to the dining room. The queen made sure they had breakfast, lunch, and dinner together. As Ann ate at the dining table, the queen walked in with a smile on her face.
• "I hope you're enjoying your meal, Ann darling," she said.
