- "Hey, sis!" Kyle called out from across the cafeteria, catching Mia and Ann's attention. Mia waved back enthusiastically.
- "Come on, let's join them," Mia said, getting up from her seat.
- Ann, however, grabbed her arm gently. "Do we have to? I wanted to discuss something with you, and I can’t really do that with those boys around," she said with a small smile.
