Chapter 26

• Nicole and Gage emerged from the water, shaking off the excess water from their skin; they were greeted by a surprising sight. Ashley and Lucas were lying on the beach blanket, wrapped in each other's arms and sharing a passionate kiss. They were lost in their own little world, oblivious to the surroundings.
• Nicole's eyes widened in surprise, and she felt a slight jolt of excitement. She turned to Gage, who was standing beside her, and they exchanged a knowing glance. They both smiled, and Nicole could sense a hint of amusement in Gage's eyes.
• Without needing to say a word, they both nodded in unison, silently agreeing not to disturb Ashley and Lucas. They stood there for a moment, watching the couple kiss, before Gage turned to Nicole and whispered, "I think we should give them some space."
