• As soon as they reached their room, Ashley slammed the door shut behind them and turned on Nicole, her eyes blazing with anger.
• "Can't you just shut your mouth for once?" Ashley demanded, her voice trembling with rage. "You've ruined everything, Nicole. How am I supposed to go to the office now? He'll definitely fire me."
• Nicole stood her ground, still fuming from the confrontation with Lucas. "It would be good for you, Ash," she said, her voice firm. "At least you won't have to bear with that bastard anymore."
