• They lay on the sand, their bare bodies glistening in the moonlight, Gage turned to Nicole and smiled. "I have a great memory now," he said, his voice low and husky. "And it's special because you're in it."
• Nicole's face lit up with a radiant smile. "Thanks for the amazing night, Gage," she said, her voice playful. "This trip has been exactly what I needed. You've been a fantastic host...and companion."
• Gage chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I try my best," he said, his voice laced with amusement. "I'm glad you've enjoyed yourself. I have to say, I've had a pretty great time too."
