Chapter 112 You’re Amazing, Uncle Arthur
- Walking into the central hall, she saw Arthur placing his jacket on the sofa. He glanced at the door expressionlessly when he heard the sound of footsteps. However, his expression didn’t change upon seeing her. He simply turned around and headed upstairs, his footsteps making deep thumping sounds against the reddish-brown wooden staircase.
- Erin looked back in the direction of the yard and saw that Jude was staring wide-eyed at the chessboard. On the other hand, Mandy sat next to Jude and vigorously tried to comfort him. Then, Erin pursed her lips and turned back. She glanced upstairs only to see Arthur standing in the corridor outside his room and staring at her coldly. The sight of him made her heart quiver in response.
- She gazed at him stupidly but did not chase after him immediately. Thus, he narrowed his eyes at her, his thin lips twitching coldly. Turning around, he walked into his room and slammed the door behind him with a loud bang.
