• Erin stared at the screen of her phone to see that an unknown number was displayed on the screen. However, judging by the way he called her name earlier, she concluded that she probably knew the caller. “Who’s speaking?” she asked as she pressed her phone against her ear.
• “Are you okay, Erin? Why aren’t you in school? Did something happen?” the voice asked.
• She was rather stunned by the string of questions. “Who are you? Do you know me? Why do you have my number?” She cheekily responded with the same amount of questions.
