Chapter 167 I’ll Wait for You, Uncle Arthur

  • Erin lowered her trembling eyelashes and bit onto her bottom lip as she unbuckled her seatbelt and let herself out of the car. The moment she stepped out, Arthur’s car zoomed past her and sped off to leave the Harrison Residence. Erin barely managed to balance herself as she felt her legs turning weak. She no longer held back her tears once the sound of the car engine grew further and further away from her; instead, fat droplets of tears began to roll down her cheeks. I’ll wait for you, Uncle Arthur.
  • Since leaving the hospital the night before, Arnold and Mandy did not return. However, Carol gave Arnold a call and informed him about Frank and Erin’s discharge from the hospital. Therefore, Arnold and Mandy were already waiting at the ledge by the front porch when Erin walked through the gates with Frank holding onto her hand and Carol leading the way. Erin’s eyes were still sore and red from crying, and she frowned a little when Mandy gave her an icy glare.
  • All of a sudden, she felt Frank patting her hand that had been wrapped around his arm. Her eyes widened as she looked up at him. “Don’t worry; I’m here. I won’t let anyone do anything bad to you.” Frank nodded.
