• Arthur frowned when he felt Marvin’s grip on his arm. All Marvin saw when Arthur turned around were a pair of eyes as dark as blackholes; the light didn’t seem to reflect on Arthur’s dark pupils. The air around Arthur felt dead and chilly, and he looked more like a walking corpse than an actual human.
• “It’s about time you snapped out of this, Arthur.” Marvin’s voice was slow and gentle as he looked firmly into the other man’s eyes.
• “I can go myself if you’re too busy.” Arthur brushed Marvin’s hand away and put on a black coat before he strode over to his bedside table. There, he tugged the drawer open to retrieve his handgun. He flicked his coat to the back before he slipped the gun into his belt, but his acts only deepened the frown on Marvin’s face. Marvin took two steps toward Arthur before he grabbed Arthur’s arms and turned Arthur to face him. “It’s been a month. How much longer are you going to continue acting like a madman?!”
