Chapter 101

• All of a sudden, all the lights of the room were switched on making us close our eyes. It took a few seconds for us to adjust to the bright lights. I glanced at Nikolai to see him at the other side of the room, and John was the opposite side, I looked at the front and when recognized the woman standing in front of me in a long black strapless dress with a deep back with her soft black hair which was neatly laid down and she was standing with her back to me, the world around me stopped.
• I felt like there was no air in the room, “Venessa?” I whispered.
• Hearing me she turned around and my breath hitched looking at her gorgeous face, I couldn’t believe that she was my Venessa. Her red lips with smoky eye shadow and those pink cheeks, she was a completely different person. Her dress was very revealing for my liking, I didn’t understand who she was?. Because my Venessa would never wear this kind of sluty dress and makeup, the situation we are in she wouldn’t dress up like this.
