Chapter 35 The Holiday Pt2

• Peyton's mouth fell open in surprise and Kay watched for a moment as he opened and closed it like a fish gasping for air. Luke chuckled as he pushed past the two of them and made his way into the house.
• "I'm kidding Peyton." he threw over his shoulder. "You can close your mouth now or you'll catch flies." Peyton's jaw shut with a loud click and Kay adjusted her clothes to cover herself. He was not amused and turned on his heel to follow Luke back into the kitchen. Kay took the opportunity to get some quiet outside before they left.
• The winter air was fresh but cut sharply through her clothes as she stepped out. She breathed deeply, exhaling the smell of Peyton from her lungs as she tried to relax. Things were getting better, but she was glad Luke had interrupted them. She might have broken her own rule and had sex with Peyton if he hadn't. They needed to focus on repairing their relationship before they got physical again.
