Chapter 23 Third Base

• Luke's POV
• I rushed form her room as reality crashed in cold waves against my mind. I had to get out of here. I said I was going to my room, but that wouldn’t be far enough. I couldn’t catch my breath as I darted from the house to my waiting bike. Maybe a ride would help clear my head. I climbed on and it roared to life between my thighs. My heart beat wildly as I pulled out onto the road and drove away. God it had felt so good to bury myself in her body. I could still smell our combined desire as the wind whipped wildly around me, the sound of her moans still rang in my ear.
• I brought my bike to a stop in front of the lake, the moon casting long reflections across its still surface. My breathing had finally slowed, and I took in along slow breath. Kay was worth more than what I had just given her. I had wanted our first time to a slow deep joining, not some quick lustful fuck. I cursed aloud, kicking myself internally. Not only had I rutted her like an animal but afterwards I had gotten up and ran away. Oh, the things she must be thinking about me right now. I kicked off my shoes and dove fully clothed into the cold water. My mind instantly froze at the shock, and I let myself float to the rocky bottom. Wet darkness closed in around me as I soaked in the silence. When I surfaced I knew what I had to do. I swam to shore and went in search of my boots. Once they were found I slid them back on and mounted my bike. It roared to life and I headed toward my house. I would show Kay the love she deserved, I would go back and make things right.
