Chapter 11 Luke's Memories
- I didn’t really know why Kay had come here. She clearly didn’t want to sleep with me even though her body was screaming at her too. I hadn’t expected her to wake up so ready to go and it had taken me by surprise, but I couldn’t tell her that right now or she would think I’m a liar. I didn’t really care why she was here, but I would make sure she didn’t leave again. I don’t know what force of nature brought the two of us back together but I’m not one to beg for food and not eat when it’s placed in my mouth. Even if that food belongs to someone else. I had to fight the urge to roll my eyes as I thought of the sham of a marriage she was still trying to defend. Peyton would be my only obstacle. If I could get her to forget him, she would stay, but how would I be able to do that if she wouldn’t even give it a chance. I turned to look at her standing in my kitchen, fidgeting with the hem of her dress. The air between us is always so thick, she’s like my kryptonite. When she is around, I only breathe for her, the blood in my veins burns for her, and I just want to run my hands over every beautiful inch of her body.
- She had put on a bit of weight since high school, as to be expected. I didn’t imagine she would have the same body, but could I have imagined that the little extra weight would settle so perfectly on her? No way in hell. Her full breast peaked out from her sundress, their crests glowing in the afternoon light, her belly was slightly soft and love handles hung thickly over her full hips. I could see her figure clearly in the skintight sundress she had chosen to wear, and I found myself wondering if she had worn it because I would. I couldn’t help but let my gaze linger a little longer than it should, and I saw her face begin to turn red. Suddenly I found myself thinking of the first time we met.
- I had shown up to Angie’s party a little late. Well, a lot late. By the time I walked into her parents’ living room everyone at the party was already drunk or almost there. I saw Angie and her boyfriend sitting in a circle with a group of about 8 people, playing a game. As I neared the group Angie made eye contact with me and jumped up to greet me.
