• Shane felt like his hearing had gone numb; he stared at Lillian in utter shock, his mouth slightly opened as he tried to digest what he just heard. His mind repeated the words to him over and over again but still, it sounded alien to him. “What?” he whispered.
• Lillian licked her lips and took steps closer to him, she could understand his shock, it’s not every day that you hear that your beloved mother not only ruined your relationship nor tried to kill your child but that she also had your father locked up in a psychiatric hospital for seventeen years, despite knowing how much you love him and how disappointed you are that he left you. She placed her hands on his forearm, trying to soothe him with her closeness, “Margaret locked him up for seventeen years. I found out because I had people monitor her emails and calls, trying to find something to use against her. I didn’t just know about her affairs, I tracked her, I had been doing so since last year, I had so many scandals on her which made me come back to carry on with my plan.
• During the tracking, we noticed that she often receives mails from one particular email account and she always deletes it after replying, we never got a hold the mail but during last two weeks I think, Philip finally broke through,” she sighed, sucking a deep breath and letting it out through the mouth. “We investigated and we found him, it was hard breaking him out but we did last week, just after she left for Florida. I have been meaning to go meet him but I didn’t want to give him a shock, he still believes Margaret has him because before he could come with us, my men had to tell him that Margaret sent them.”
