• Her phone started ringing then and she picked it up immediately, her countenance changed to that of annoyance, “well it’s about time, Ryder.” She listened to the phone, “why have your number not been connecting since Friday night?” “I want to see you, we have unfinished business to talk about.” “What do you mean you are not in town? I want to see you as soon as possible Ryder, I am so angry at you right now.” “What kind of imbeciles did you bring for me the last time? They couldn’t even get a simple job done, get rid of the baby, that was all they had to do and yet they couldn’t do it!”
• Shane was shocked when he heard her, get rid of the baby? Whose baby are they getting rid of? His mother wouldn’t have gotten pregnant, of course not, he knows that much for he had been with her the past years.
• “What do you mean they had it done? They told you they did but they didn’t, as I am talking to you right now, that damned child is alive and breathing, and do you know the worst part? Shane knows of her existence!”
