• “What the hell Shane? We had a deal, I am not to interfere, she is to leave or stay on her own accord, what makes you think I will go back on my words?” She placed her hand on her forehead and sighed, “listen, I may have not been in support of your relationship because she was so below you and too imperfect for you, but, I happen to find out how happy she makes you and I am your mother, I love you, I care about you and I have since your father abandoned us. Your happiness is my first priority and that was why I compromised, that was the reason I brought up that deal, but I didn’t want you to be fooled like I was, I didn’t want you to be used like your father used me, that was why I wanted us to test her, to test her loyalty which she ended up failing.”
