Chapter 18 Chapter Seventeen

• Shane turned to his mother when Lillian was out of sight, "what was the meaning of that mother?"
• Margaret furrowed her brows, "meaning of what?" She asked, looking at him, wanting to see every reaction on his face. Her accusation on Lilly was a gamble, seeing how Shane has been protecting her gives her a bad vibe. Although she told herself it's possible to be just a fondness he has for her but she just can't keep it at fondness, they has to be something more and Lillian's reaction had proven it a little to her, with the way she reacted and how her body fidgeted when she accused her of going after her son had broaden her thought. It could be that she is in love with Shane and Shane had no idea, if so then her warning today will probably throw her off but if it happens that Shane is in love with her too, then it will be a bigger problem so she better start now to avoid it.
