• “B-Blake...” I stammered in shock. The last time these two met, they wanted to rip their heads out.
• His gaze caught my own for a part of the second and then returned to Xavier. A growl sounded from Xavier's lips and his body stiffened in hostility. I could see his muscles tightening and a vein started pulsating on his neck.
• Keeping my eyes on my ex's clenched body, I started stepping closer to my mate. I had to be as calm and quiet as a mouse not to trigger them. I couldn't even imagine landing on a stick. My belly was ringing in dread what would happen if they attacked each other.
