• I got home after a conversation with Amely. They were going to lock Mate in the underground level, in one of the room-sized cells and they were going to tie him in the middle, so he wouldn't be able to hit the grids.
• They were going to play him educational videos, trying to get him to learn how to speak as soon as possible. I was sure they had already extracted blood from him and were testing it to see what made him so different from the other turned.
• But they were going to take care of him. They were going to make sure he wouldn't hurt anybody, including himself. They were going to do better than me. My skin prickled at the way he had lost his consciousness for a moment when we were in that town. Or when we entered the pack.
