- Noah gritted his teeth, his expression twisting into misery and anger. “Only if I had run when he told me to...”
- I led him to a secluded bench nearby and made him sit. He was now crying with a full throat. I glanced at the people around the area and nodded my head it was alright. I didn't need foreign eyes staring at us while we talked.
- “What happened two years ago, Noah?” I asked, knowing no matter how much it hurt, he needed to get it out of his chest. He was all alone. Noah was just a child and he had no one to talk to or a shoulder to cry on. And now that his dead brother came back from the grave, his memories and guilt trapped him into a dark hole.
