  • Counting the money I found in Xavier's backpack, I sighed. It was enough to rent a car and get back to my pack if something happened to my debit card. I had to keep them in different pockets. You never knew what could happen with the turned around these forests.
  • I looked at the wolf. He had been sitting at the same place for hours. It was getting late, and my patience was running thin. We had to go if we didn't want to get found by other turned.
