Chapter 12
- I sat him on a bench and took one of the pizzas out of the bag. It was a good thing they were put on cardboard plates. It would make it easier for him to eat and not make a mess.
- I pulled his piece a bit out of its plate and pointed at the cardboard. “Don't eat that, okay? Only the upper part.”
- He blinked once and tensed, staring at me incomprehensibly.
