Chapter 34

• "You know when someone asks, ‘Do you want it the easy way or the fun way?'"I was the kind of person who came from a full, fast-paced life and, at that moment, just wanted a little peace. But every time I thought I could start slowing down, life reminded me of who I really was. If I started begging the heavens for less excitement, would someone actually hear me?
• The week started off normally. After a brief explanation, the teacher assigned us an exercise. While I focused on answering the questions as quickly as possible, a sharp, high-pitched scream suddenly came from a girl sitting in the far-left corner of the room, near the window.
• “Sorry, professor!” she exclaimed, barely able to contain the excitement on her face.
