Chapter 27
- The sun had already started rising over the horizon when I slipped back into my room. I barely avoided getting caught sneaking into the bathroom. I needed a shower to wash off my wolf’s strong scent.
- When I stepped out of the shower, I noticed a different smell in the air and walked down the hallway to take a peek. The table was set for breakfast, and an unexpected guest was sitting there. Clutching my towel tightly around me, I rushed back to my room, embarrassed, hoping I hadn’t been seen.
- What’s he doing here? Lisa asked.
