Chapter 31 Invitation

• I flip the page of the thick book while I am sitting on the bed, with my back on the headboard. I am waiting for either sleep or Theo to come, whichever comes first. When I heard Theo’s footsteps, I remove the blanket and place the book on my bedside table.
• I watch Theo stride toward me. I grin, especially at the way he looks at me. Reaching my bed, he kisses me as I wrap my arms around his neck.
• “How was your day?” I ask.
