• Sophie yanked away from the iron grip, before she could fully process who was holding her. But then, she felt the pressure of lips against her—short, urgent and intense. Shocked, she pulled back quickly, her breath catching in her throat.
• The grip on her loosened, and a dim light flickered on from the corner of the room, casting shadows across the walls. That’s when she saw him clearly—Scott.
