Chapter 17 Caught Between Fears

• The kiss started slowly, a tender brush of his lips against hers, but the intensity quickly escalated. Larry's hands cupped her face, his thumbs gently caressing her cheeks as he deepened the kiss. Sophie's hands found their way to his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbreak beneath her fingers.
