Chapter 34

• Four months later.
• It’s been four months since I woke up in the hospital with Cole at my bedside and learned of my parent’s death. I still can’t remember what happened that night, but I have nightmares of them screaming in pain. I miss my parents.
• I have been living with grandma and have adjusted well, but grandma had an accident last night, so I stay with Uncle Theo’s family. Which I am not looking forward to. I stand at the door, waiting to be picked up. I have not seen them since I woke up in the hospital a couple of days after the fire. I don’t know how Colin will react now that I will live with him. However, I assume he probably hates me for telling my parents what he did.
