Chapter 19

• I stir suddenly from my sleep, a bit disoriented, as I scanned the dark bedroom. Where am I? The room is unfamiliar.  I look down and see his hand around my waist, which brings back memories from before. I came to see him, and we had sex..it was never my intention to see him. I thought I could get him out of my system after Houston, but all I want to do is be wrapped up in his arms whenever I see him. But I have to let him go, today was nice, but today probably won’t happen again. I sigh; it’s not like he’s willing ever to tell Gianna. Shit! What time is it? I’m supposed to meet her at eight. I look around for my phone, oh I left it in his office.
• I slowly move his hand from my waist and climb out of bed. I grab my shoes by the foot of the bed and turn to leave. I stop and head back to the bed. His face is barely visible in the room, only illuminated by the light streaming in from outside. I lean in and kiss his forehead.
