• The moment I pulled up to the house, I slammed the car door shut and stormed inside. My mind racing, my chest tight with anger. Ruby. My mother. And Gustavo? What the hell was she doing at my mother’s place last night? And why? Why was Oliver Gustavo at my mum’s place all of a sudden? My mum had never mentioned anything about the Gustavo to me before.
