Chapter 2 Uncle Seven

  • Yan Anmo nodded her head. She didn't understand what it meant to leave with this man, but she could tell he wasn't a bad person since the police greeted him with a smile.
  • Like that, she followed him home.
  • At that time, Yan Anmo had no idea that this man was the most mysterious influential figure in A City and that the lives of multiple companies sat in the palm of his hand. All the wealthy families in A City knew of the existence of this man, but no one had ever seen his face.
  • Inside the car.
  • "What should I call you from now on?" Yan Anmo blinked her big round eyes like a doll.
  • Xi Zhiheng froze for a moment. He had made every preparation to take this girl home, yet he had forgotten to think of a name.
  • "The Young Master was born seventh in his family. Why don't you call him Uncle Seven!" the middle-aged man in the driver's seat said as he glanced at Yan Anmo with deep meaning.
  • This man was Xi Zhiheng's personal housekeeper, Liu Zhengqi. He knew everything that Xi Zhiheng was thinking.
  • Xi Zhiheng did not make a sound.
  • Yan Anmo didn't understand his expression and felt a little nervous. She twiddled her thumbs and bit her lip.
  • She was afraid of being abandoned. She was afraid of making Uncle Seven unhappy and getting abandoned again.
  • After they arrived home, the housekeeper held Yan Anmo's hand and led her to her room. This was the first time Yan Anmo saw the type of home that she had only seen on television. The room was filled with pink Hello Kitty's and black and red Mickey's. Even the rugs, sheets and curtains were covered in Disney princesses.
  • "Is this a castle?" Yan Anmo was stunned; she liked this place too much.
  • Just as the housekeeper was about to respond, Xi Zhiheng walked in.
  • "If you think it is one, then it is."
  • "Will I be living here from now on?" Yan Anmo opened her eyes wide in disbelief.
  • "Open the wardrobe and have a look," the man's voice was cool as he avoided answering her question.
  • Yan Anmo opened the wardrobe and was blinded by the scene before her. She was so stunned, she stood frozen in place for quite some time.
  • The wardrobe was full of beautiful clothes and dresses, all of which were carefully selected, and the workmanship was so delicate, one could tell that each piece was worth a lot.
  • Moreover, these clothes looked like they had been tailor-made for her. Yan Anmo felt like she was dreaming.
  • Xi Zhiheng petted Yan Anmo on the head, "This is your home from now on. Whatever you want, just let me know and I will satisfy you."
  • At that moment, Xi Zhiheng's noble and extraordinary appearance was imprinted in Yan Anmo's eyes like a prince from a fairytale.
  • Boom--!
  • Lightning flashed outside the window and a loud thunder cracked!
  • Yan Anmo was originally staring at Xi Zhiheng, but in an instant, she began to tremble like a frightened rabbit. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead and she subconsciously tried to hide in a dark corner.
  • "Are you afraid of thunder?"
  • Yan Anmo's tears continuously trailed down from the corner of her eyes as she nodded grievously, "That woman died when it was raining and thundering..."
  • That woman was her biological mother.
  • Xi Zhiheng furrowed his refined brows. He, of course, knew who that woman was.
  • "Uncle Seven!" Yan Anmo suddenly rushed up to Xi Zhiheng and hugged him.
  • At that moment!
  • Xi Zhiheng suddenly felt like he could smell a unique scent looming in the air.
  • "Can I sleep with you...?" the 6-year-old Yan Anmo sniffed as she pleaded pitifully.
  • Housekeeper Liu was a little surprised as he stepped forward to pull Yan Anmo off his Young Master's body. But--
  • "OK."
  • One simple word from Xi Zhiheng destroyed the understanding that the housekeeper had towards him.
  • He never liked to be around children. In fact, he was annoyed by the sight of them. Yet, he agreed to let Yan Anmo sleep with him!
  • Moreover, Yan Anmo had even...
  • However, the thing that surprised the housekeeper the most, was the fact that the Young Master ended up sleeping with her for many years after that.
  • ……
  • 6 years later. On a rainy night.
  • The thunder outside the window woke Yan Anmo from her sleep and she subconsciously huddled up into a ball.
  • Next to her, Xi Zhiheng's eyes were already open.
  • "Anmo?" He leaned over gently and touched Yan Anmo's forehead. As expected, it was covered in a layer of cold sweat.
  • Xi Zhiheng tore away the blanket that was covered over Yan Anmo's head and pulled her into his embrace. Patting Yan Anmo gently on the back, he said, "OK, the thunder's stopped. Don't be afraid."
  • The man's unique scent and the warm touch on her back made her slowly relax.
  • She grabbed onto Xi Zhiheng's shirt and buried herself in his arms. In a soft voice, she mumbled, "Uncle Seven..."
  • "Yes, I'm here."
  • Xi Zhiheng's voice was calm and powerful, allowing Yan Anmo to relax and close her eyes.
  • But, within a few seconds, her body suddenly stiffened.
  • Sensing the abnormality, Xi Zhiheng furrowed his brows, "Anmo, are you feeling unwell?"
  • In his arms, Yan Anmo's face turned red. It was unclear how much determination it took, but she finally lifted her head.
  • Xi Zhiheng lowered his eyes and saw Yan Anmo on the brink of crying. His heart tightened, "What's wrong?"
  • "Tell me."
  • "Uncle Seven. I think...I wet my pants..." Yan Anmo's eyes were red.
  • At her age, wetting her pants was an extremely embarrassing thing.
  • Xi Zhiheng froze. He then lifted the blanket. But, a patch of bright red appeared in his eyes.
  • His pupils constricted immediately. His first assumption was that the young woman was hurt. But, he thought about the words she had said...and after much thought, he realized the young woman wasn't hurt. She had become an adult.
  • At that moment, even the usually calm Xi Zhiheng panicked for a few seconds.
  • But, it only lasted a few seconds before he regained his composure and pulled the young woman into his arms. "Don't be afraid, Anmo. You didn't wet your pants. You've become a woman."
  • "What do you mean, Uncle Seven?" Anmo followed Xi Zhiheng's gaze and her freshly cooled down cheeks heated up again. "Uncle Seven...I..."
  • "Don't be afraid. I'll tell the housekeeper to buy what you need."
  • Yan Anmo nodded her head shyly. She wished, at that moment, that she could transform into a quail and burrow herself in the ground.
  • After 10 minutes, the housekeeper knocked on the room door. The rain outside had stopped.
  • Xi Zhiheng took the items and handed them to Yan Anmo, "Do you know how to use it?"
  • Yan Anmo glanced down, bit her lip, and said in a faint voice, "Yes."
  • She then scurried into the bathroom.
  • "Anmo!"
  • "En?" Yan Anmo poked her head out.
  • "Wear slippers."
  • "OK..." Yan Anmo put on a pair of cotton slippers obediently.
  • 5 minutes later, Yan Anmo was still inside. Xi Zhiheng, who was waiting outside, began to knock on the door worriedly, "Anmo?"
  • "Uncle Seven, I'm almost done."
  • When he heard the splashing of water, Xi Zhiheng furrowed his brows, turned the door handle, and walked inside.
  • Inside the bathroom, Yan Anmo was struggling to wash her underwear...
  • The blood stains on the bed linen were too embarrassing!
  • When she suddenly saw the tall figure walking in, Yan Anmo subconsciously hid the item in her hands behind her back, "Uncle Seven, why are you in here?"
  • Xi Zhiheng frowned, "Don't touch cold water at a time like this. Leave it for the housekeeper to handle."
  • Yan Anmo shook her head, "No, this is so awkward for him to do."
  • Xi Zhiheng laughed gently. Then, without a word, he stretched out his hand and grabbed the item that Yan Anmo was trying to wash. He then scrubbed it clean and hung it up to dry.
  • "Uncle Seven, you..." Yan Anmo was dumbfounded. Even in her dreams, she did not imagine Xi Zhiheng would do this for her. That item was... Plus, it was stained by blood...
  • Her face turned so red, it was about to explode.
  • “OK, time to sleep." With one swift movement, Xi Zhiheng lifted the blank Yan Anmo up and placed her back in bed."
  • Inside the bedroom, the housekeeper had already changed everything and there was no scent of blood left. Instead, the bed had a pleasant smell.
  • But, the thought of others seeing what she had left behind still made Yan Anmo so embarrassed, she wanted to ram her head against the wall...
  • However, Xi Zhiheng did not seem to care as he gently rubbed her stomach, "How do you feel? Does your stomach feel unwell?"
  • Yan Anmo didn't notice it before, but now that he mentioned it, she felt a burst of bloating pain in her stomach that felt like spasms.
  • Moreover, this pain seemed to grow stronger and stronger.
  • Yan Anmo buried herself in Xi Zhiheng's embrace, "Uncle Seven, it hurts..."
  • Xi Zhiheng looked at the pale-faced Yan Anmo as he pulled her closer to his body. At the same time, he instructed the housekeeper to bring some brown sugar ginger water and a hot water bottle.
  • After drinking the ginger water and hugging the hot water bottle, Yan Anmo felt a lot better.
  • Xi Zhiheng massaged his hand on her lower back. It was a warm sensation.
  • In her drowsy state, Yan Anmo finally closed her eyes, "Uncle Seven, I'm going to sleep. Good night."
  • Xi Zhiheng's lips curved upwards slightly, "Sleep, my good girl."
