Chapter 16 Leave Home

  • Xi Zhiheng's delicate brows furrowed as his deep, charming voice said with a trace of anger, "Are you done talking?"
  • "For her sake and yours, don't give her any hope."
  • Tang Nianrui got right to the heart of the matter. Those involved could not judge a situation as well as an onlooker, so the things that he saw clearly, Xi Zhiheng didn't necessarily see.
  • Xi Zhiheng's cold eyes were like a pair of thousand-year-old ice that glowed and made one tremble. When he was angry, even Tang Nianrui was a little afraid.
  • Soon, time passed, but Yan Anmo and Si Weiwei still had not returned.
  • "Go see what's going on," Tang Nianrui instructed a waiter. But, as soon as the waiter started walking, Yan Anmo returned.
  • As she held onto her stomach, her face was pale and a cold sweat formed on her forehead. Xi Zhiheng already had his eyebrows furrowed, but there was even less hope of relief at that moment.
  • "Uncle Seven, I..." Yan Anmo was too embarrassed to speak. She couldn't possibly say in front of everyone that her period had arrived...
  • "Weiwei went to buy me something but she still hasn't returned. It's suddenly raining outside. I'm worried something happened to her..." Earlier, Yan Anmo discovered in the bathroom that her period had arrived but she had no sanitary products on her, so Si Weiwei offered to buy it for her. But, she still had not returned.
  • "Buy something?" Tang Nianrui did not realize what she was talking about.
  • "It's none of your business!" Xi Zhiheng said coldly.
  • "I'm back, Anmo. Quick, come here--" Si Weiwei suddenly reappeared. Her body was soaking wet and there was mud on the side of her little black dress, but she didn't seem to mind.
  • Yan Anmo did not expect the woman to end up like this because of her. When she thought about the attitude she gave Si Weiwei at the beginning, she felt a little guilty.
  • Due to the rain on her body and the air conditioner inside, Si Weiwei was so cold she began to tremble.
  • Without hesitation, Xi Zhiheng removed his coat and covered Si Weiwei with it. At that moment, Si Weiwei felt a sense of warmth. It was like discovering sunlight inside an ice cellar and not being able to take one's eyes off it, nor leave it.
  • "It seems like this meal can't be finished. Let me take Weiwei home so she doesn't get too cold." Tang Nianrui understood that things had to happen one step at a time and that he couldn't rush it.
  • "Bring Weiwei to our place. It's not far from here," Yan Anmo said after gathering her courage.
  • Earlier on, in the bathroom, Si Weiwei had reminded her that her Uncle Seven was a man. From the perspective of a man and a woman, his necessity for a woman had nothing to do with feelings.
  • It took a lot of thinking for Yan Anmo to understand that her Uncle Seven needed another woman in his life apart from her, so he could do things with her that she couldn't do with him.
  • After returning home, Yan Anmo went to have a shower because she was a little messy from an entire day of running around.
  • But, all of a sudden, she remembered that Si Weiwei's little black dress was soaked and she had nothing to change into. So, she went to the wardrobe and picked out some loose-fitting clothes to give to the woman.
  • "Weiwei??" Yan Anmo approached the guest bedroom and discovered the door was open. But, when she went inside, there was no one around.
  • Strange, where could she have gone?
  • Yan Anmo held onto the clothes and went to each room to check. But, they were all empty.
  • "Mm--"
  • A strange sound traveled into Yan Anmo's ears. It was a faint sound. She held onto the clothes in her arms and stopped in her tracks.
  • The woman's delicate moans sounded like she was enjoying herself.
  • Yan Anmo clenched her fists as she pushed herself to move forward towards the left. The sound was coming from Xi Zhiheng's bedroom.
  • Every moan that Si Weiwei made, Yan Anmo felt like a sword was being stabbed into her heart and every step she took was extremely painful.
  • She approached the door and discovered it wasn't closed shut; there was still a gap. Yan Anmo held her breath like there was something stuck in the back of her throat, carefully leaned forward and peered into the room through the thin gap.
  • Inside, she could faintly see Si Weiwei sitting on top of Xi Zhiheng as she continuously moved her body. Yan Anmo's face immediately heated up and she dropped the clothes in her hands. Unsure of what to do, she stood frozen place, too afraid to make a move. She saw a scene that she shouldn't have.
  • Her nose tingled as she pouted her lips. For some reason, she wanted to cry.
  • All of a sudden, Yan Anmo felt like her eyes met Si Weiwei's. She trembled in fear and immediately turned around to escape. But, she accidentally tripped, knocked open the door, and stumbled inside!
  • It seemed as though Xi Zhiheng had been waiting for this moment. Si Weiwei felt a little embarrassed and immediately tried to cover her body, but Xi Zhiheng tore it away domineeringly.
  • "Continue." His commanding tone made it impossible for Si Weiwei to stop.
  • Yan Anmo lay on the floor as the pain in her heart grew. Every cell in her body was undertaking a change. She lowered her head, clenched her teeth, and used every bit of strength in her body to stand up.
  • She then turned around and left.
  • She once thought her Uncle Seven belonged to her, but she now discovered she had been too naive.
  • Now that he had another woman, did that mean he didn't want her anymore?
  • Yan Anmo ran out crying. She didn't even take an umbrella with her.
  • The rain fell harder and harder. Although she didn't know where she was going, she decided to leave on her own before Xi Zhiheng told her that he didn't want her anymore.
