Chapter 5 I Can't Die Yet
- I froze in horror.
- If I could see my face in a mirror now, my face would be extremely pale.
- "I…"
- I could not find words to finish my sentence.
- My heart sank when I saw coldness and disdain in Henry's eyes.
- "Huh," Henry snorted, in his cold voice, "I told you before, do not think the unthinkable."
- At that moment, I knew my plan was busted. Henry had his guard up against me since the beginning.
- To my horror, I noticed my body was starting to react funnily. A burning sensation arose from my belly, expanding to other parts of my body.
- Then I knew I was the one who was drugged.
- Henry buttoned up his shirt while looking at me with great disgust. "Since you like men so much, let me get a few for you."
- His words worsen my fear.
- No, no! I can't let him go! He's the only one who can save my child!
- I made my decision when I thought about my child who was suffering in the hospital. I took the remaining drugs out of my pocket and placed them in my mouth. Then I held Henry tightly.
- "Get off me, you mad woman!"
- I must have caught Henry by surprise because he could not break away from me. So, I kissed him on his lips.
- Then, I pushed his thin lips open with my tongue and thrust the drug into his mouth.
- I held on to his neck and refused to let him go.
- At this point, I had no other choice, even if he was going to think of me as a crazy woman.
- I finally loosened my grip when the drug was dissolved in his mouth.
- "You, crazy woman!"
- Henry pushed me aside. His expression was full of disdain.
- "You better watch your back. I will not let this go!"
- Then, he walked towards the door.
- "That's not going to work. I'd locked the door from inside. You can't even open the door with keys."
- I had chosen this particular hotel and room so that there would not be any reason to spoil my plan,
- It was just a means to an end, even though the ending was slightly different than I expected.
- "You crazy…" Henry's glare was full of disgust and contempt, shooting at me like sabers.
- "I had confirmed that the drug's effect would be enhanced by alcohol. So, you have no chance to fight back."
- At that moment, my body was almost consumed by my desire. Without the last remaining control, I would have jumped on Henry.
- However, the last bit of control would not last for long because I had taken off my clothes one by one to ease the burning sensation.
- Henry was trying to fight off the burning desire in his body.
- I walked towards Henry with my bare feet and touched his face with my hand. The skin contact sent shivers throughout our bodies.
- Unconsciously, the two of us hugged together as if we had found relief.
- Henry did not hold back at all, for this started as a scheme.
- When dusk arrived, Henry finally let me go with a groan. His eyes were getting clearer.
- When his body was about to get away from me, Henry grabbed me around my neck.
- At that moment, my body was still reminiscing the ecstasy. The next second, it was fighting against death.
- How strange was this? A moment ago, we were doing the most intimate thing in the world. Then, we became archnemeses in the blink of an eye.
- However, I knew I had to do this even if I would be hated.
- But I could not die here.
- Gasping for air, I felt like all my blood was gushing into my brain from my body.
- Tears ran down my eyes. Finally, with great difficulty, I squeezed out a few words.
- "April 28, Midsummer Hotel, Room 1070…"
