Chapter 4 Scheming and Defending
- Drugs were my last resort. I believed Henry would be unable to control himself if I drugged him and was alone with him.
- I knew some sketchy people when I was working in the bar.
- I bribed another female colleague to get some drugs for me.
- Then, I took out the name card that was almost falling apart and called Henry.
- "Hello, I'm Samantha Leigh, the one from Room 136."
- The person from the other end sounded startled. "So, have you thought about your request?"
- I could sense his hostility through the phone.
- "Yes. I wish to change my request."
- "Go on."
- "I wish to invite you for a home-cooked meal. I will decide on the venue."
- I held my breath and listened for a response from the other end after saying it.
- After a while, I heard a "yes" from the other end.
- I was relieved.
- I booked a room with an attached kitchen at a hotel. I brought a ton of ingredients like I was going to have an actual date.
- A knock came from the door right after I finished cooking.
- I opened the door and saw Henry. I was relieved that he did not stand me up.
- "Why do we have to meet here?" Henry frowned.
- "I know my previous request was too outrageous. I only lost control because I really like you."
- I lowered my head coyly.
- "I'm not going to like you," blurted Henry.
- "I know, so I'm not going to ask a lot from you. I only want you to fulfill my dream of having a meal together. After that, I swear I would never bother you again."
- "Look at these. I made all these by myself," I tried to please him.
- Henry nodded, pulled a chair, and sat down. His movements were brisk and elegant.
- I could never even touch the fingertips of a man like him if it was not for the accident before this.
- At this point, I gathered my thoughts. Then, I sat at the other side of the table and poured a glass of wine. "Let's have some wine before having these delicious dishes."
- "It's not good to drink with an empty stomach. Eat something first," said Henry gently to me.
- With his handsome face, Henry could have any woman if he was gentle.
- Even I would fall for him if I was not on a mission.
- Never mind. Let's take things slow.
- I was pretty confident with my cooking skill. With the laced wine, I was sure that Henry would fall for it.
- I also drank some wine after a toast.
- One, two, three.
- I counted in silence. Then I stood up after seeing Henry get drunk.
- "Henry! Henry!"
- I pushed him several times, but he did not respond.
- I was delighted. I quickly brought Henry up to the bed.
- I was not familiar with the drug I used on him. However, it seemed like I would have to do the rest of the work.
- Luckily, I did some study on this matter before I came. So it would not be a problem for me.
- So, I bit my lip, then reached out and unbuttoned his shirt.
- One… two… three…
- When I took off the fourth button on the shirt, it revealed Henry's tanned chest. I wanted to touch him.
- I could not resist the intriguing view in front of me. Just as my fingers touched his chest, my wrist was grabbed abruptly.
- The "unconscious" Henry had opened his eyes.
