• Days passed slowly since Genna walked out into the rain and the house felt empty even with people moving around because her laugh no longer filled the halls. Denise asked for her every morning until I told her Genna went on a long trip and would be back soon.
• I worked long hours in the study trying to fix the shipment mess and find who helped Marco from inside. I slept badly at night with the bed too big and cold and I woke up reaching for her side before I remembered she was gone.
