- Days turned into weeks and every morning I woke up either in Leonardo’s arms or with him slipping into my room before the sun came up fully. We made love slow some nights, fast other nights, always hungry because we could not keep our hands off each other.
- Adriana left for a short trip to Milan three days after the kitchen counter and the house felt peaceful without her eyes on us all the time.
