• Genna's POV
• I slept fitfully in the hospital bed with the IV out now and the monitors gone. The doctor said I could recover in a normal room but I stayed there alone after Leonardo walked out and Adriana left with her smirk.
• Morning came grey through the window and I drifted in and out of sleep until the door opened hard and three guards came in with their faces blank. They pulled the blanket off me, grabbed my arms, lifted me from the bed like I weighed nothing.
