• “Don’t be an ass, Yuri. You already said a lot, but never dared ask about the assault. Didn’t you feel the pain in your ankle? Didn’t you feel the discomfort? You know it’s not yours, yet here you are pretending to be oblivious of it. Hypocrite.” He was fuming, but I could feel his urge to control his temper. He released a few deep breaths before continuing. “She sprained her left ankle because someone tried to assault her. You jerk.” He is really pissed at me. I could tell with his tone and language. He never called me names in the past, and now he called me three names in less than a minute. Was he telling the truth? Did he talk to our mate?
