Chapter 12 Know Your Place, Father
- [Third POV]
- The former alpha inspected the corpse of the two fallen rogues, searching for a significant mark that could give them a clue on which pack had sent them. In his years of leadership, no other pack dared send rogues to challenge his authority. Did Brohan offend anyone? But why is this group very small? Was it really a rogue attack or an innocent intrusion?
- While he cannot find any clues on the corpse, his gaze shifts to the body of the injured one with several tattoos on his body. This rogue has a powerful alpha scent. His ripped chest, perfectly shaped legs, arms, and torso tell him this one is far from rogue. He scrutinized the unconscious man’s appearance and felt a strange familiarity, except he could not tell from where. Even the man’s scent relaxes the middle-aged alpha to a certain degree.
