- The more I think of it, the more I blame Brohan for the duration of River’s seclusion, which caused her mental problems. If River suffered this much in three years, I couldn’t imagine how Mom’s wolf’s mental state is right now. However, I have to admit that despite her wolf’s twenty-two years of silence, she shifted somewhat flawlessly that night.
