Chapter 27 Fatherhood

• After Ivan laid out his plan to his mate, he went to the bathroom to freshen up. He opened the shower and stood under it, contemplating, hoping that water would wash all his worries away. As he closed his eyes, his memories returned him to that day again.

• He looked perplexed; his face paled as he shook his head vigorously. “I don’t understand, Alpha. Why would I take your firstborn away from the pack? Isn’t he the rightful heir to the position of the head alpha?” he asked, thinking his formidable leader was testing his loyalty and morality. He knew this question alone could cost him his life, but he needed to understand why.
