Chapter 28 Fatherhood II
- “Dang, Dexter, how are you going to take care of that boy? Do you even have any idea how to be a father to a newborn child? Your life is over, man,” Karl ranted, and Dexter set down his mug to pick up the boy without saying a word. He cradled him in his arms until he fell asleep.
- This is his life now. At least his alpha was generous enough to pay him a monthly salary. He’s not so heartless after all. But why would he let go of the heir to the alpha position? As more questions come to mind, the more he pities the Alpha’s firstborn. He promised himself that the baby alpha would never feel abandoned or unloved in his lifetime. This baby in his arms will always have a father; he will be his son.
- The following day, Dexter contacted a distant uncle in Siberia. He called him ‘Dyadya,’ which literally means uncle in Russian. His uncle was involved in small-scale coal mining and lived in a cabin near the forest. He thought it would be an excellent idea for them to have access to the forest, especially after his alpha boy got his wolf later. That’s when he fully decided to settle in Siberia.
