Chapter 10 Danger
- The birds chirped in the morning as I still laid on the bed in exhaustion over Levy's chest, his heartbeat like a lullaby. Our legs were tangled and as I sighed in peace, I stared at Levy while he slept like a baby, his steady breathing as his jaw glinted underneath the morning light that escaped through the lavish curtains was my kind of morning sight to wake up to.
- I sat up on the bed, trying to remove my legs from his slowly and without waking him up. We had a rough night of blaming, planning and assumptions so I didn't want to wake him up since we slept after midnight in a troubled state.
- At nine in the morning, I stood up with a hopeful smile on my face and grabbed the telephone to order breakfast so I could surprise Levy. We deserved a break once in a while and I was sure that the men wouldn't interrupt us so early in the morning. After I kindly ordered on the phone, my feet followed the swirls on the carpet leading to the serene balcony displaying the bright early birds perched on top of the balcony railing.
