Chapter 6 The Abergil Family

  • There were moments when I couldn't tolerate any kind of pressure, whether it was emotional stability or physical pain. I had to go through everything for the ones I loved from within me like my family, friends, and Levy. Never had I ever imagined being in this sticky situation with a volatile heart and a traumatized soul. The moment I had to open the door and die. He wouldn't come here if he didn't know the truth about Levy's girl being undercover here.
  • So many things I wanted to say, describe and show in my life. I didn't want to die like this, I didn't want to die alone. I gulped and held the cold doorknob until a familiar sound halted my hand. I let out a sigh of relief as I peered into the door hole and saw my attractive bad boy lead the man away from my door, muttering something along the lines of "you had the wrong room" to the guy who laughed it off while I had an exhausting tantrum.
  • I had no idea that this was nothing to what Levy had lived through since fifteen. I meant the way he was handling things like a professional and the way he was smart enough to deal with men that looked like lethal scorpions, who could kill anyone with a sting of their existence.
  • Going back and not in the mood to dive in the jacuzzi, I turned off the bathroom and hung my clothes on the nightstand, feeling lazy like an old woman on a summer day.
  • I changed into my Pokémon Pajamas and laid on the soft bed that was all for me. My eyes brightened at the Netflix list of movies they had featured on the TV and I chose Teen Wolf as I laid back, enjoying the sight of my celebrity crush, Tyler Posey.
  • The room was the epitome of luxury; it had the view of the sparkling ocean as well as the strong two pillars that introduced the chain of classy restaurants and the elegant bars that had bright spotlights going to and fro.
  • My eyes took in the smooth silk creamy colored sheets and I thought of Levy. Nobody got me out of my shy shell except for him, the moment he came into my life was the same moment he changed me. I didn't blame him for his past since he was raised forcibly like that. Nobody could afford to be good if their family morale was not good enough for others. I had been by his side through his toughest time and I noticed the good in him that nobody saw.
  • A knock interrupted my thoughts and I padded across the bathroom to the door with my yellow shorts. I felt solaced as my eyes met my favorite amber eyes.
  • I opened the door instantly and engulfed him in a tight hug. He lifted my legs and placed them around his waist, rubbing the skin of my thighs from behind as his lips claimed mine.
  • "I missed you already. You made me an addicted guy Lia," he confessed as his eyes took in my face and I could tell he was exhausted by his disheveled hair and the bags underneath his eyes. These men were pressurizing him. He carried me to bed and we both laid down, facing each other.
  • "I missed you too," I replied with swollen red lips and his eyes twinkled mischievously when he hovered over me, hungry after my lips.
  • "Before we go into that," I blushed when I stopped him. He chuckled and let me continue, "I have a question." I said.
  • "What is it?" he urged me to continue with his eyes as he went to his previous laid-back position.
  • "Who are those men?" I asked as I trailed a finger down his chest and up in a calming manner as his eyes warily met mine as if he was afraid to talk about them.
  • "These men are brothers of the Abergil family, the most known gang in California," he sighed as he talked about them, clearly sick of them. "They threatened me saying that if I don't partner with them, they would kill my family so I had to come here to offer them a deal that after this, I would completely be clean and they agreed in exchange for killing another gang. They are two brothers, Mr. Denis and Mr. Clarence, they have no parents and they are out for blood. They are the most deceptive human beings, they let you think that they are kind, but they aren't." He clarified.
  • "But the thing is," he continued, "these men were merciless and conniving, they are worst than me and I'm scared that they would change their minds." He confessed as he rubbed his eyes. I sensed his desperation at finding a solution to this problem.
  • "Well, they can fuck off," I joked, trying to be cool and failing and he chuckled when I was the one who got on top of him. "You don't have to be scared, I will be your wing woman." I tried to reassure him when I was scared.
  • "You mean my partner in crime?" he asked with a sly smirk, willing me to kiss his known smirk. His lips met mine again.
  • After an hour of hugging, kissing, and eating Chinese from the food service they had, Levy had to go for a meeting so he placed a kiss on both of my cheeks and reminded me to stay undercover. I nodded at him, making him feel convinced so he would let me go and deal with his tasks.
  • I changed into my plain dark skinny jeans with a midnight blue top that had The Rolling Stones on it, redoing my hair into a neat bun this time and trying to master an eyeliner above my eyes. After putting slight makeup on my face, it was time to explore the places the hotel offered.
  • My eyes caught the aquarium I wanted to go to from the elevator and I went outside to see it. The various types of fish swam comfortably in the water and I felt weirdly satisfied with the nice order of living.
  • "Nice aquarium, huh?" A guy commented, I turned and wanted to gasp.
  • It was the tall bald guy from before as he smiled down at me.
