Chapter 27 Back Home

• There were little clips of moments the person got when they leave their hometown often: memories, laughter in the air, sadness in the roughest of times and adventures. Those were the things that made individuals feel like they lost a part of who they were in the place where they were born, had their first heartbreak or their first childhood love.
• Coming back to Oregon helped me get that, a part of my identity, back and healthily stable. I breathed in the familiar woodsy scent as my heart ached for the place I called home. Although we didn't stay in California for a week, I was glad to come back home. I wouldn't show how homesick I was in front of Levy so he didn't label the blame on his forehead.
• After the night of coming back with many branded clothes bought by Levy and most of them, much to my dismay, were for me. He brought me a Dolce & Gabbana shirt, an Aigner latest watch, a Gucci dress and a Fendi pink pajamas. I was overwhelmed and continued to scold him for buying me this expensive stuff my cheap lifestyle rejected.
