Chapter 24 Intruder

• There were always parts where people waited for the suspense to disappear, unveiling the sequence of surprises that had most people gasping for the results of their suspense. It was the parts where the hearts stopped and forgot to pump oxygen into the body's systems.
• Levy stood from our comfortable hotel bed and walked slowly to the door. As he looked at the hole, his eyes widened, making me stand up as well and take a look at the stranger that was soon to be revealed. My breath hitched at the sight of Mr. Denis holding a bunch of flowers as his sinister smile widened, causing a mix of traumatized senses down my spine. With a crooked nose and a haunted smile, his eyes stared into the hole as if he knew we were looking at him.
• "What should we do?" I trembled when I whispered to Levy with wide terrified eyes. He held me to calm me down and his other hand grasped his phone as he dialled his mom. He talked to her in a hushed tone of voice about the unpleasant intruder.
