Chapter 12 Arrival

• Carousels went up and down with dizzy lights and playful children. My eyes sparkled at the big sign that was titled "The Carnival Amusement Park" which was near the Ritz-Carlton.
• After the doctor let me out, we checked out and grabbed our packed bags, we decided to discover the amusement park until his dad's arrival. Mr. Clay made me feel safe and secured because he was the top leader when it came down to gangs, he would be able to save us from this nightmare.
• Ever since we left, Levy was extra-protective of me, he wouldn't let me carry a thing and he would go before me to check our surroundings for any unexpected sign of danger. He was sweet when he wanted to be, broody when he wanted to be and destructive when he wanted to be. It was like his moods were in order based on the way he found situations.
