Chapter 22 War

  • For any ultimate war, there has to be two sides of hostility: the warriors who were out for the necks and the big bad force mixed with an initiative to make a difference as a result of the war they had created. If the leader of the warriors decided to reclaim a part of their territory from their enemies, then the war had to break out eventually.
  • In this case, Mrs. Christina was the leader that wanted to reclaim her territory, Mr. Clay, fighting against the enemy, Elizabeth Maxwell, unfortunately, my mom. Mrs. Christina was so strong that with her huge hand, she could slap both Mr. Clay and my mom in one go.
  • I internally cheered for Mrs. Christina as people screamed at the act of violence when she gave my mom a big slap, not on the face, but on her neck that made her head bash into the empty porcelain plate. I cringed as blood started to seep out my mother's nose and I looked up to see Levy's mischievous smirk of pride towards his mom, thinking what I was thinking.
