• The limousine glided smoothly through the busy streets, tall glass towers rising on either side. Nina couldn’t take her eyes off the cityscape, the endless movement, the flashing billboards, the sheer scale of it all. But when the car finally slowed and pulled beneath the awning of a grand five-star hotel, she forgot everything else.
• The building rose majestically above them, its entrance flanked by marble columns and golden lighting that gleamed even in daylight. Uniformed doormen stood at attention, their polished shoes catching the shine of the pavement. A red carpet stretched toward the glass doors that seemed to glow from within.
• The driver stepped out swiftly, opening the back door. Darren exited first, then extended a hand to Nina. She hesitated for a heartbeat, staring at the hotel’s grandeur, before slipping her hand into his. The moment her feet touched the carpet, she whispered under her breath, “Oh my God…”
