I had to blink twice to make sure I heard him correctly. Truth? What truth is he talking about? "What do you mean by 'uncover the truth'?" I asked. Just in time, the elevator door opened and Hunter walked past me without saying anything. I was supposed to go back to the second floor, where I was heading in the first place before he pressed the third-floor button, but the curiosity in me made me run after him. He was almost out of my sight. My long legs were there to help me.
"You're yet to answer me," I commenced the moment I caught up to him. He works fast for a tall man like him. Always making me suffer.
